Square Enix most pointless char

who was the most pointless character of any ff game? just a character that was worthless to get, or just plain dumb.

 

Every character except for Blank in FFIX.

 

So far I would say Cait Sith in FF7

He is a traitor. He is on the bad guys side. You get him and then he leaves I am up to disk one and so far I hate him.

 

Yeah I also thought Cait Sith was pretty useless. His attacks were weak, his limit break stunk, and he wasn't even a very involved character except for that one thing.

 

It's got to be Edward. He just plain sucks. Quina is probably a second. But don't forget good old reliable Red Mage, the pointless munchkin.

 

Edward, Gau, and Umaro get my vote. The thief in FFI is pretty worthless as well.

 

Realm Takes the Cake I think when it comes to Worthless.. And Edqard.. but thank god you dont have to use him long..

Umaro is actualy One of the best characters to take with you Into the magic tower.. So id not say he is worthless. cause he saved my *** many a times fighting the magic freaks in that tower.

And Gau is Actualy fun to play around with..

For FF7 I hated Yuffie.. I think that the one. Materia stealer.. I hated her with a passion.. and Cait Sith is prety lame as well.. but not anoying..

Every FF has there useless character..

Yeah I HATED Yuffie in FF7. I just plain old didn't like her at all!

 

I didn't hate Yuffie, she was not a very good fighter, btu she was fun to fight with. Cait Sith's specials sucked pretty bad, but theyre fun because he has such a wide variety.

 

Cait Sith yeah, and Agus from fft (what a loser, bastard traiter)

 

But he came back and was with us in teh end. I figured he was a spy when we first joined us... but I only trusted him after he betrayed us.

 

I can name a few. That hammer guy in IX. Quina in IX. Cait Sith in VII. Fujin in VIII. And finally, Norg in VIII.

 

there is alot of useless characters in the ff series... but after playing 1-10 and tactics... i've come to the conclusion that the MOST useless character is Edward from ff4

>.< that stupid bard is the most useless ff playable character i've ever used..... all he can do is sing..... which is just plain useless.... also.... he runs automatically in every single battle that i used him in... damnit... he sucks ***!!!

Even Rydia was physically stronger then he was in low lvls..... damnit!! and shes a friggen mage!!

 

Has anyone played FFII in FFOrigins? Do you recall a character named Gordon? He was MORE useless than Edward! Man! What's with all the wussies?:dizzy2:

 

Well i din't beat FFX almost but (sin battle) I think that Rikku is really nat a MAJIOR character (no affence)

 

hmmm...... i think i hate Edward in ff4 the most too......he sucks at everything.......have anyone of u thought about selphie in ff8?
i don't remember really what she has to do in FF8......sure it was a while sence i played the game but i think she is kind of annoying.......but she is kind of cool at the same time, hehehe i cant stop thinking about her little clip in the beginning of the game when she is trying to follow squall and the others, when she trippes on some rocks, tihi i laugh at her silly enterence does she really have anything to do with the game.....:dizzy2:
