Sailor Moon Most Underestimated/Overestimated Character?

Who do you think are the most Underestimated/Overestimated Characters in Sailormoon?

 

I think Sailor Moon herself is underestimated the most, they label her like she is exactly the same as when they came into the whole mess.

Sailor Mars has to be the one I think is over estimated.

 

Call me crazy if you want, but I think Chibi-Usa is extremely underestimated. Everyone thinks she's evil, but she really isn't. She was just brainwashed at one time. She was so sweet to Hotaru and when Usagi's sad, she tries to cheer her up. Where's the evil in that? Everyone also thinks she just a impolite brat and always say how useless she is. So what if she's a brat? Where do you think she gets that behavior from? From her own mother! It's true! So what if she sasses to Usagi? It's funny! Finally, how can she be useless if she's helped the Senshi so many times? So what if she's the weakest Senshi? Why must she always be blaimed for Usagi's flaws?

Another one is Mamoru. Sure, he's not very powerful in the anime, but he's sweet, and loyal, and loving to his princess. It's hard for me to believe how he can put up with Usagi's childish ways. He also gets blaimed a lot whenever Usagi's impolite to him. I've heard a few people say, "oh, Mamoru made her act like that!" Just like what they do with Chibi-Usa.

Then there's Rei... Poor Rei. There are alot of people who think that she's mean and cruel and nasty, and that she hates Usagi with all her might, and how it's always her fault for Usagi's flaws, but she's not that way at all. She cares for Usagi very much. The DiC Rei is not the real Rei!

Haruka and Michiru are often accused of being cruel and heartless, but they really aren't. They're just very serious about their duties as Senshi, and they just only knew one way to save the world. They knew no other way.

Ami is very underestimated in North America. Everyone thinks she a weak nerd. People are just too hard on her too. I actually admire Ami for studying hard to follow her dream. She's certainly not useless either. She's extremely helpful to the team.

Hotaru can sometimes be underestimated because of her power to destroy. A lot of people always say that she's possessed by evil, and how she has evil power, but you can clearly see by just watching the show that she's not evil at all. She's just doing her duty as a Senshi, and it's not her fault that she's the Senshi of ruin.



Now with the most overestimated, I think Usagi, Makoto, Minako, and Setsuna are. With Usagi, her fans seem to often forget that she has bad flaws like the other Senshi (excluding her clumsiness, and her being a crybaby, and so on). People act like she's an all-pure goddess, and some acutally treat her like one! Not realizing that she's only a fictional character. Liking Usagi is great, but there's a point where it crosses the line... :dizzy:

Makoto, to me, is overestimated, because everyone thinks she's so sweet and perfect, but she's not perfect. She hurts people when she's angry, she acts before she thinks, and she keeps moping about her stupid ex-boyfriend. Give him up already, he was a jerk!

With Minako, she's overestimated because of her zany personality, but with that personality, she can hurt people emotionally at times. Plus, while she was very mature in the first season, she began to immature as time went on. That's pretty weird. :sweat:

Finally, there's Setsuna... She's powerful-yes, she's wise-very much so, but she really doesn't do much in the series. She's more active in the manga, but in the anime, she's kind of dull. No offense to Pluto fans, or tho the fans of Usagi, Makoto, and Minako.

That's all of the main characters... I haven't seen Sailor Stars, so I can't list the Starlights for now. I'm now done. :catgirl:
