    What was everyone's take on the movie?

    Did you find it dark, funny (there were funny parts hahaha), stupid, a waste of time..

    I thought it was pretty cool how everyone got reaquainted and stuff, but it was a shock what happened to Akito and Yurika...

    all the time changing stuff.

    23 seconds before
    I really liked that episode with Jun acting all crazy and it had

    20 seconds after that(a forget this!)
    And Jun was going around wanting to kick some butt, which is not his normal character...his normal character is a shy person.


    I wonder if another Nadesico movie will be made with Akito coming back to Yurika or something. But does anyone know what these mysterious OVA's I've been hearing about are, and no not the Gekiganger...I've even seen this on a list of anime at angryasuka.com or some place like that. Are these "magical" OVA's just sections of Prince of Darkness?

    The time episode was like, 16 or something, not the movie..ya confuséd me for a seconde..

    Jun was going around trying to kick but on a bicycle..now thats weird..on a space ship no less. They were all playing a card game too and looking into people's innermost dreams and thoughts.

    YAY! I've downloaded the movie (fansub) and IT WAS AWESOME!!!

    I love it from the beggining till the very end. I found it very humourous. JUN is sooo HOT AND KAWAII AND HANDSOME AND AND... you get the picture :D :p :p :D

    I liked the parts where we get reaquainted with the characters... They all have changes and grown old... I like how Ruri turned out, but the one thing that I missed in the movie is her usual 'baka' :p

    Jun is my favorite bishonen!!! He looked soo cute! Especially when he was forced to change his outfit! hehe The girls where flirting, teasing him, and calling him kawaii. It was such a funny cute lovely scene. Mix emotions you could say.

    Haley is soooooooooo cute!

    Now for some questions!
    Who's yurika's brother?
    Isn't there a part, movie, episode, where akito and yurika get married? How many movies are there for the nadesico? There are some images I found on the net that contain scenes I never seen in either the tv series nor the movie.

    I loved the movie. I thought it was a great follow up to the series. Of course I probably would have liked it better if the folks who did the fansub actually synched it properly. Of course its not nearly as bad the fansub I have for the Escaflowne movie(the only name those fools got right was Allan's). Anyway, the Nadesico movie good, even with poorly synched subtitles.

    And now back to the cramming *shudder* damn Japanese exam.

    I don't think Yurika had a brother. Yukina did and they visited his grave in the movie. He was the Jovian who fell in love with Minato. I don't remember who Haley is off the top of my head. Could you describe his role in the movie?

    Scomo is Yukina's brother. I know him.

    Haley is the little guy alongside Ruri and the blond guy at the movie... She treats him as if he's her brother. He doesn't like the idea that Ruri's old nadesico pals would come and help in the mission.

    There are so many threads about this anime around @_@x Since this is a thread on the content of the anime I'll leave it as is.


    Does anyone know why it was named "Prince of Darkness"? I don't exactly see Akito as being a prince of darkness in this movie if that's who it's referring to..

    Akito was such a jerk in this movie. I wouldn't be surprised if he is the Prince of Darkness. maybe he's possessed?

    It's odd because usually the Prince of Darkness, I thought at first referred to Satan, but there are more sources that say it's a nickname for Dracula.


    It could also refer to how Akito was in the shadows for so long, or it could also mean that he's mostly mechanical or the fact that most of his senses are dead.. as well as his whole body pretty much. Kind of reminds me of Darth Vader but in Akito's case he became this way due to experiments.

    well, its odd maybe Akito and Yurika had different effects from being used? because well I don't know much because when Yurika was saved she sort of acted normal, no? I'd like to know what happens to her later on becuse she was like that for 2 years! and perhaps the Prince of Darkness was the organization that did this to them perhaps?
