    HEY GUYS! Guess what?

Remember the old Netscape vs. internet explorer wars?

Well the _ORIGINAL_ developers of netscape just launched a new product called Mozilla this May 30 (NOT to be confused with Netscape 6/7). I'm using it right now. It has tab browsing, image manager (i.e. to block annoying pop-ups, or even porn), password manager, irc chat, form manager, COOKIE manager, WOW!

Well, just wanted to give an insight. I'll tell you later if i find some problems with it.

    See ya!

I'm a little confused there, weaver....wasn't NS built on Mozilla code?

Well, gonna give it a try anyhow...as a developer, I gotta ensure my pages work with it.

[edit]D'uh! NS was built on it...you can clearly see that. The idea of Mozilla is to have open-source web browsing, ne?[/edit]

Yes, NS was built upon mozilla. But mozilla 1.0 is the latest revision / bug fixes etc etc.

Yes, I tried NS 6. It ******... many bugs. Mozilla is finally a decent thing. Let's see how the browser wars go after this.

*sigh* i wish there was a windows-compatible open source OS... *sigh*

I tried Moziila, and found absolutly bo difference from Netscape 6.2. It was like comparing Kazaa and Morpheus when they first appeared, different program, same design, same everything, and I searched everwhere but the program doesn't seem to block off pop ups.

The only decent thing about it is, it's program file is less than netscapes, but thats only because netscape has several other program along with the browser (AIM, Winamp, Real Player, etc.)

I wont say which program to go with, in truth, they're both pretty decent, and since netscape was made from Mozilla code, well they share the same bug(s).
