i have a metallica one for "hero of the day" with clips from dragonball
and a linkin park's paper cut with clips from dargonball Z: the history of trunks.

might have a few others too, i just got them from looking around different channels on IRC, don't really know anywhere on the web to look for them, but a google search might turn something up

    http://www.animemusicvideos.org/

Immediately comes to mind. Don't think they actually host any videos, but they have an extensive database with links...

BakaMattSu, soon to be a usable search engine filter!

I can give you a list of a few of my favourites:

The Distance by Cake - Macross Plus
Stone Cold Crazy by Metallica (not as good as Queen's) - Trigun
Volcano Girls by Veruca Salt - Tenchi Muyo!
Scum Of The Earth by Rob Zombie - Chrono Trigger
She's So High by Tal Bachman - Final Fantasy IX

There are other good ones out there, but those are the only ones I can think of at the moment.
Try looking on Morpheus or Kazaa. That's where I got all of mine.

I'm a collector of AMV's meself ;) here are some of my fav's that I found at www.animemusicvideos.org and Kazaa.

Linkin Park - Crawling to Rurouni Kenshin
Korn - Let's Get this party started to Escaflowne
Offspring - Starting at the Sun to FF4,FF5,FF6,FF7 and 8
Weird Al - Your Horoscope for today to Love Hina
    then there's a tonne of others that I can't remember now @_@x
but the ultimate music video and probably the most professional and synchronized one that has won many awards and first places at conventions and the person who made it is a friend of Seraphim's... oro I'm rambling... but the video is Odorikuruu by Aokakesu Digital.

    Bad DBZ Videos

I've seen a lot of really bad Dragonball Z videos, most of which to Limp Bizkit songs. It's like they just took some songs and a bit of anime and slapped it together. No logic whatsoever. I can't stand that. They hit the recycle bin faster than a cockroach to a Strathroy appartment building.

Hacks are, regrettably, as common to the AMV world as cheesy romance novels are to C-stores... most of them prey on the common series, like DBZ and such... but occasionally they wander further... My suggestions... go check out Onegai Studios (www.onegaistudios.com) be forewarned that the material is spoiler rich. I hightly reccomend his 'The Definition of Trust' RK OVA vid, 'Fade' FLCL vid, and 'Night of Fire' Noir vid, only if you've seen the series though. Maboroshi studios is also loaded with talent, this guy puts some serious time and effort in, and it shows, I'm rarely dissapointed. Kusoyaro (I know the meaning, of course) studios is another one worth checking out, he's got some good ones. I'm trying to formalize a Music video ratings system for my own benefit. On my scale, your average hack would rank -1 on a 0 to 10 scale. I have to agree with a lot of everyone's choices for good videos so far, I haven't seen some, so I can't comment on them... well, enough raving and ranting for now.

Would that be Staind's Fade per chance?
Any Staind videos would be appreciated!

My sister used to have a video for Teenage Dirtbag by Wheatus for Love Hina, but she deleted it before I could watch it.

I just got a whole load of videos ...

    The Good
Sunday Bloody Sunday by U2 - Rurouni Kenshin
    Alive by P.O.D. - Final Fantasy X
Help by The Beatles - Tenchi Muyo!
With You by Linkin Park - Sailor Moon
Nookie by Limp Bizkit - Various

    The [Not] Bad
Enter Sandman by Metallica - Final Fantasy VII & IX
Wild Wild West by Will Smith - Trigun
Waste My Hate by Metallica - Neon Genesis Evangelion
The Kids Aren't Alriight - by The Offspring - Dragonball Z

    The Ugly
When Worlds Collide by Powerman 5000 - Dragonball Z

That Kenshin video was simply amazing. The FFX video was a bit low quality, but it was still pretty cool. The Tenchi video was hilarious. It featured a quick flash of the album cover for Abbey Road with the characters instead of The Beatles. The video for Nookie had a brief clip of El Hazard, so I was happy. I could have made a whole video for that song with just City Hunter, personally.
The only video I clasified as "ugly" is a perfect example of the type of DBZ video we were just discussing.

I'll have to look around for those GNZ ;) thanks for telling me which ones are good and all... it's great to find AMV's that people put a lot of effort and anime compassion into. Usually good AMV's take like 4 months to make, so stay away from ones that the review of the person who made it says "I made this in an hour!!" :p . Oh and check out some of the independent sites too, like onegai to find really good ones ;)

That guy!, this comment goes out especially to you, because you're the biggest Kenshin fan I know.
You owe it to yourself to check out that Kenshin video. It's one of the best videos I've ever seen, and not just the anime variety either. It's great. A bit bloody in parts though.
By the way, I think it's from the OVA.

GNZ, I know that video, it's OVA for sure. While that one is good, the 'Trust' vid I saw is amazing.

I'm afraid it isn't// Fade is simply the name of the video, which uses Shimmer, by Fuel as the music for an awesome FLCL vid. Not Staind, but still worth checking out. As is FLCL incidentally, if you haven't
