Music Musical Inclination?

I was wondering, does anyone else like to write music in their spare time? If you do, are they new arrangements to old favorites? I've attached one that many will probably recognize, and that many have redone over the years.

I wish I would actually have that level of skill to do that sort of thing, but under any circumstance, this topic should stay up if you ask me.

 

In case no one could figure it out, the song previously posted is the Doctor Who theme, redone for a concert band setting. And thank you for the compliment.

I can't write music but I write lyrics to my songs for my anime and manga. I love to write lyrics but I just can't seem to write music...**sigh** one day though

 

I know and have written a little bit of music (onlu for the piano tho). I did figure out how to play and wrote up a piece on how you make the BGM for Sailor Moon's "Moon Crisis Makeup." My (wonderful!) girlfriend thought it was just something I was playing off my computer. Its kind of easy, but hard to really play fast (like it sounds in the series). I probably could put it up here if anyone cared to hear it (tho it would take a few days, I'd have to borrow my brother's microphone).
