Anime Must Avoid Animes

    Seeing how there's a must see anime thread, lets type what anime series you think should be avoided by anime fans. Name the anime and give a small reason why it should be avoided.

    Also use a number rating:

    1 being lower crap
    and

    Tenchi Series: This is made up to be an action anime... but it nothing more than "Oh Tenchi!!!!!" with the girls goin gaga over him...

    How *exactly* is it made out to be action only? There's enough action, and I thought it was a comedy series *right* from the start... Well, if you insist it's must avoid, then I can't say anyting about that. I like the Tenchi series, though. Really fun, especially the GXP series.

    Anyway, I don't exactly recommend Magic Knight Rayearth for those who already think that Sailormoon is too saccharine. I'd say it was really sweet, almost too much so. But, I guess it's good for some. ^_^

    that was the BIGGEST piece of crap we'd ever watched at club...it was viewed once..and i think who ever owned it, burned it...it was horrible...gods...i feel like i need to take a couple baths to feel dirty just thinking about that...<shudder>

    hmm, SIN the movie rates pretty high on that scale, but doomed megalopolis is worse. and i don't know the name of this one... but it's gotta be the worst i've ever seen. It was an anime about, (ponders how to put this best) giant 'shlongs' (think the size of the dragons in X) attacking earth. What the hell were they thinking?

    Tenchi sucked, but Bubble Gum Crisis 2040 wins the prize. At first it seems cool and all, but you'll cry for waisting your time watching it after u see the ending. I know i did, cuz i bought the BGC tapes :(

    2040 did blow in the end, but I enjoyed the first half or almost all the episodes. 6

    gunsmith cats, just horrible. i wouldnt recomend that to even a dying rabid bear, in fear that hed kill me for showing him it

    Tenchi isn't supposed to be an action series,assface!It's a comedy!I like Tenchi alot.It's a good show.

    The show that I really can't get into(I know everyone is going to hate me for this)is Rorouni Kenshin.Maybe it's just the Cartoon Network version,but I just can't get into it.It's weird,because nearly everyone loves this show,so I figured I would,too.I also don't like Digimon.Sorry.It rates a 7 on the ****-o-meter.

    Beyblade. They made an anime about a crappy toy. CRAPPPPPPPPPPPPPPPPPPPPPPPPPPPPPPPPPPPPPPPPPPPPPPPPP~.................

    That's my only piece of adive.... FOR NOW!!!! :rolleyes:

    Heh, I know it's horrid old. But the dub of Windaria......*shudder* I think it was horrible. HORRIBLE! I also didn't like Appleseed that much, but just due to the animation. I found it too....boxy. The women's bodies all looked like they were too smal for their heads. But, those are really old. I watched an anime not too long ago, it was a military one, ugh...can't remember the name. Well, like in RahXephon, they were at war with this other planet thinger in the sky...think they were called Jam or something. heh. He was in love with his jet, it had a name and he talked to it all the time. I think it was...something Princess something...It was really really weird, the animation wasn't too shabby, but not the style I like. Ya think with "princess" in the name it wouldn't be all military like that. And the ending sucked. If you know what the hell I'm talking about don't watch it. :D Maybe I just didn't appreciate the deepness of it or something. If I can remember what it's called I imagine I'll get back to yas.

    Oh yes and Miyuki-chan in Wonderland. If you REALLY wnat to watch it, rent it, don't waste your valuable cash on the dvd. CRAP!!!! i would onyl recommend it if 1. You are a CLAMP die ahrd and need to own and see all fo their series. 2. You're a weird fanboy who needs to see his daily dose of sexy women trying to seduce a high school girl.

    K0ge i think your talking about star Jammers.. I think that an anime anyway..

    But one anime I say NEVER watch is one called Earthian.. its about these angels or something... Yes something.. what the anime was about I have No clue.. that how ghey it was.. and the anime itself was alright if you leave it one pause.. cause in motion it looked like the first cartoon ever made. Brutal..

    what else.. hmmm Fist of the North Star is a brutal anime.. But funny as hell and lots of gore.. I like it.. but realy.. Its a BAD anime..

    cant think of any other right now.. cause ive blocked them out..

    Another one:Tokyo Babylon.This one might actually be good.I didn't get most of it,so if it was explained,maybe i'd love it.That,plus I was half asleep when I watched it.I should probably watch it again.Because I doubt that a CLAMP anime is THAT bad.I also heard that it's a prelude to X.Is this true.If it is,I'll really be seeing it again.

    Once again, for you, you sad, sad soul. this has a couple ol' backgorund froms the series. I suggest you look at the one where she's holding her skirt and her outfit is all WET.
