    Well, I decided that it would be kinda fun to take a picture of my bookshelves, even though I've only got about a fifth of my books out here with me at college, if that. Sadly, there isn't enough room in the apartment for me to put all of my books, so most of them are in the attic at my parents' house. *sighs*

    So yeah. The pictures are still missing a bunch of the books I have out here (cookbooks, textbooks, etc). Some of them are in other places in the apartment, some of them are in boxes....^_^;;

    Well, I can't put a picture up cuz SOMEONE *cough Neph cough* has a digital camera and won't lemme use it.
    But I have a pretty big bookshelf, filled with manga, Japanese books, french books, german books (ja!) and alotta crap. I've read each book so many times I'm bored. I have an ENTIRE shelf dedicated solely to psychology, but I'm lacking the books right now cuz a) I LOST MY BIGGEST, BESTEST ONE ON THE PLANE!! *fumes, remembering how she liked the biography of John Nash... yeah, I put it in psychology cuz it's about schizoprenia...* and b) My parents won't buy me any more books at the moment.
    I am a BIG reader.
    I want more books.
    I'm waiting for donations... -_-''

    well, here's some of my stuff, but all my favourite books are either lost because my brothers borrowed them, like Dune, crumpled up like Tolkien's books are, hidden, or in boxes like Anne Rice. so here's my limited messy shelf space:

    theres a bit of manga and some art books in there. Majority are cool books I had to buy for school.

    here's just some cuteness on my shelves:

    Just some old chinese school books that my mom and dad want me to keep. Note: These were never mine, these are my cousins books. ( Hence: I have lived in Sweden all my life, I suck at reading chinese ). And some manga that I borrowed from the Stockholm Comics Libary.

    Oosh-my-Gosh! That's practically a library!!:dizzy2: I'd die.
    It's nice to see that you like to read. Most of the people I know like to burn libraries (not really...they just hate books) I'm really the only one in my family that likes to read but I'm picky about what I read.

    *Whistle* Those are a lot of books, but not as much as mine! My books are scatter all over the house. In the living room, closet, bedroom, hallway, and my desk. I only like my manga.

    I remember that when I was in public school I loved to read, just not what we had to read for class. For some reason even the most interesting literature becomes boring if you're forced to read it. It's even worse if you have to analyze it (of course, this is provided you don't like analyzing stuff, which I generally don't).

    I still have problems with that particular aspect of reading, even in college. This is extremely ironic because I'm an English major. An English major who hates analyzing literature and doesn't like being forced to read something. *sigh* Life is full of cruel jokes, isn't it?
