Art My CG, comments please.

    Basic stuff made in Flash Rest is made in Photoshop 7.0 . note that there's a "watercolor filter" on the third pic.

    and by the way, do not be too nice when you comment on it, as you always are ~~

    It's a very interesting piece, when you said 'watercolour filter' I thought I'd see something more.. watercoloury. but the texture is nice. A few things, perhaps you could add a lighter tone in the hand to show the finger lines: Right now its just a solid black mass, but it has a nice shape ;) and the end of the sword's grey could fade out more? or you could add more horizontal line and fade it all out or blurr it. these are just suggestions. I think you are very creative!

    i edited it, so without the watercolor filter you can actually see the hand ;o
    and ya - the "end" of the sword got rather.. messed up when i added the filter :>

    ya I see that, I see the wonderful line you had in the second image in the hand, for the fingers. you seemed to have lost that. I was going to say I don't like the watercolour filter, but it really did a good job on the handle and blade. It's really weird how it darkened the hand up.. but you could always lighten the hand again. anyways nice, thanks for adding the other images^^

    Cool! Amazing what photoshop can do .. Musing to self. Well, for some reason I like the second step more than the finished step. (I'm guessing it must be the red blood :D ) all of Seraphim's comments seem right on to me, about the hand stuff. Perhaps, and if (I have no idea about how photoshop works) but ifyou could add in the sword textures and colors onto that second step and put in a little more detail into the hand it would look better. Dunno. I'm kinda color retarded.

    i like it alot but make the hand a little lighter and it will be perfect

    Well he IS wearing gloves, so I guess it shouldn't be too light, but a little lighter wouldn't harm.

    Looks good... I don't think you need to so much make the glove lighter, but rather give it lighting. Of course, d epending on what kind material it is changes the lighting and such (if it's leather, it should be relatively easy to work with, juding from how you did the effects in the sword).

    Really just need to emphasize where the fingers are and such, 'cause it kind of looks like all one big black... thing...

    But, yah, otherwise very good.

    wow.. thats really nice sword!!! i love swords!!! and good job.. i cant CG good so i cant say nothign about ur CG part.. becasue for me its just great!!

    Always wanted to use flash. Played with it a little in college but never had a chance to really practice in it. Cool image by the way. Would have commented earlier but my computer is acting up. :sweat2:
