I am new to this board, but I have been into CG for awhile...

Things you might want to try,

Start with the image atleast 3 to five times as large as you want it. You can shrink it down later, and the lines will appear much smoother.

What program are you using? It is a .bmp so I am guessing 'paint' maybe? Do you have access to photoshop or paint shop? There are others out there. You might be limiting yourself if you stick with a program that can't easily handle high end graphics.

Its a nice start, hope to see more.

Nice start so far. I don't really have any suggestions to CG since I have never done it before. All I can say is that you need to use the airbrush >:D.
