Dusk smothers the city like a torch has been snuffed,
As god as my witness, I've finally had enough.
Skinned knees and wide eyed stares
Go to show that you're not there.

I'm sure they miss you just as I do.
Feening for a mother figure to help them see this through.
Bloodshed, violence and a small bit of prestige.
This is the city, our city of intrigue.

Keep us guessing, slowly coming unraveled.
Unswathed by the clothes that burned away in our travels.
They're crying again, whimpering from the cinging of flames.
Forced to skin, burns and pain amid the ashes of this game.

Can you scream louder?
Can your vocal cords pierce this chaos?
Through the gags of oppression,
Can your words humble them?
If you're not able to leave your mark
Then please leave at your own disgression.

Motivated to make a move; To get a move on
I'm sure you understand my lack of faith in those who've gone.
They're not coming back, to here among the dead.
They're free of us, what good is coming back?

Scream darling, shriek to your hearts content.
Makes no difference to the bodies that pile around our godsent.
Scream darling, yell for ever drop of crimson that splatters your form,
'Cause this revolution is a lost one, and our dreams do harm.
