My TV died!

My TV died yesterday. Or a few days before that. Or weeks. I couldn't say when. I can't even remember the last time it was even on! All I know is that I turned it on last night to watch Saber Marionette J, and it wasn't working! Nothing but static and, if I was lucky, a bit of the picture behind it.

It had a good run, at least. I don't know for sure how old that TV was, but it was older than me, and probably most of the members on this forum. (I'm thinking 25 years or more) And this is the only time it's ever failed. It didn't even have a remote! Just the old-fashioned dials!

Anyway, it sucks because I don't have the money I need to replace it, or to even get a new pair of speakers to get my computer to play quality sound! Man, did this thing pick a bad time to die. Couldn't it have waited? Like, 20 years?

Maybe one of you kind, generous, BJP members would be nice enough to grant me the means to provide myself with a new one? I mean, I do let you read my journal.
