Excel Saga Nabeshin!! How cool is he?

    I personally believe that, because of his gaudy clothes and kick-ass afro - which can store pretty much anything, Nabeshin has got to be one of the coolest if not the coolest anime hero around. Comment on this, preferably with giving your opinion of his coolness on a scale from 1 to 10, 10 being the coolest. :D

    I'll give him a 9.5! I especially love the part where he met Excel in the washroom, the toilet flushed and he left her a message on the seat. I also love the advice and help he gave Pedro in episode 25. I need to pick up the box set of Excel to re-watch it all again.

    Any hero who can pull two M-4s out of his afro in a fit of remorseful rage has my vote. Any hero who's hairstyle has its own magical properties, imbued with the ability to give ANYONE an afro with magical powers, has my vote. Any man who has his own song for his incredible hair, has my vote. ---> Ore wa Nabeshin

    ...And did I mention that I like his Afro?

    Nabeshin is the man.

    Ahh, Nabeshin. He's cool. Actually, I found out about him well before I saw Excel Saga. It was in a quaint little, seemingly dead webcomic called "Online Life." At the time I had no idea who he was, only that he had a huge afro.

    In time, I found out. (I watched Excel Saga) I thought he was awesome! It was months before I finally decided to get rid of the afro I was sporting in his image. (read: It was months before I got the money to get a haircut, and, prior to it, I had an afro) :D

    Still though, I think he went a bit too far with Excel Saga, and he got old after a while (not in the way we all do, as in age, but got boring).

    So, I give him a solid 7/10
