Slayers Universe Naga and Amelia

    Here is a very debated topic.

    Amelia does describe her sister as tall and scary, and reacts horribly when Lina does a comparable laugh in the series. This sister apparantly has been missing for some time. And of course, the two have yet to have met during any of Slayers.

    Are you a believer that Naga is in fact Amelia's sister, or does it seem too obvious?

    I believe Naga and Amelia are related.

    In one episode of Slayers, a person who looks like Naga (but probably isnt) walks by. Watch Amelia. She half-bugs out and keeps looking at that person.

    I believe its the episode where they visit that port town. I'll check my DVDs later tonight and confirm that.

    Sounds interesting. I've yet to watch the 1st Season (it's sitting on my shelf right in front of me as we speak). I've already bought and watched the other two seasons. Anyway, it has to be Amelia's sister. Why would they have Amelia mention her sister in any given form if it didn't have any significance to anything in the series, OAV or TV series?

    Hey actually the idea of amelia and naga being sister's could be true. naga and amelia look alike and they're figures are similar. and naga is tall and i guess scary in amelia's view, but as nephilim said it may be to screw us up.

    Actually I believe Amelia IS Naga's sister.

    yeah, it's pretty obvious that amelia and naga are related. I mean comon, Lina helps out a kid who happens to be gourry's grandfather. The author want to make the world small as possible that everybody knows each other even though they don't.

    scared of blood

    also, zel said in next that amelias sister witnessed her mother, phils wifes, murder at the hands of bandits. And naga is really afraid of blood in the OAV's. Wouldn't this be an outcome of a traumatic experience like witnessing your mothers brutel murder!

    i think they are, and lina does laugh like naga and amelia does kinda freak out at it so i think it is.
