101 Dalmations. Give me a few days to root out something non-japanese made. Are we going simply banning all forms of anime or can we use made-in-japan-but-released-in-US-as-children's-cartoon?

As long as it is considered a cartoon is fine I guess. Obviously Last Exile wouldn't due to the animation.

 

Well there IS a problem with the non-anime thingamajing. There are obviously several shows which were produced in Japan, but in cooperation with several other countries. I'll just pick out an example, namely "Alfred Jodocus Kwak", a Dutch cartoon which was a cooperative project between The Netherlands, Germany, and Japan.
Hmmm maybe we should only "ban" the more obvious anime from this thread then. Ofcourse, then we'll start wondering "what is obvious anime", and flame wars will follow..

I used Sherlock Hound because when I was little FKO (For Kids Only) Video released a few episodes on VHS. It was in english and I had no idea it was japanese in origin. That's why I brought it up.

This was on Nick Jr. Might be japanese in origin, but if it is I couldn't tell. Like Sherlock Hound, this is an example of what I was asking about.
