Recreation names...........

kinda weird to ask but what the hey! i need a name for a character i made up. I'm getting REALLY tired of calling him catboy. Anyone got any suggestions??

I want a japenese name for him. I'm thinking of starting a manga once i finish all my characters.

Knowing anime-style drawings, the character probably doesn't have to be Japanese. Why not go Spanish and call him Gato or something like that? You could even string together various words in multiple languages for "cat" and call him something like Gato Neko Chat Cat. Just my ridiculous idea, anyway.
More seriously, you could pick a Japanese name (since you said you wanted that sort of thing) and just stick one of the above cat-words for his family name. My suggestions:
Kageyama
Akira
Ryu
Or just anything else you see lying around ...
