Art Need Advice

I know I'm not so great and everything, but I could use the advice... what are your comments about this next pic and the one after?

not excited she was alittle too something that night. i was hoping that i could catch what she looked like and i did. she thought i was nuts when i showed her. she didn't remember the night before.

In the first pic, it's okay except that the two halves of the face are not in line with each other (i.e., the eye and ear on one side are higher up than the opposite eye and ear). The second pic is pretty good--at first I thought the expression was a lil scary (cuz of lots of eyelashes along with the eyes wide open). But then you said you were trying to capture what she looked like at the moment, so I guess the expression was intended (and so it was a good job after all).
