well, not really, just i get lost sometimes.
    i wanna know...
    u know the selecting thing?
and u know how u can select a rectangle shaped space?
i wanna know, can u make a selection like a triangle shape?
    yeah thanks.
later i will post more questions if i come across anymore trouble.

Well, if you had bought it, you would be able to find the answer in that nice manual that comes with the box.

Since you don't have that, I would recommend you look up some tutorials on how to use Photoshop, a little research will save all of us from having to answer questions that can easily be found with a little bit of experimentation.

In any case, click the lasso tool, hold down the key, and select the polygonal lasso tool. Then just click the vertices for your triangle, and you have it selected.

I would say just play with it and experiment with the different features and after a while you'll get the hang of it, that's how I did it ;) But there are different features for the tools, to select them just click on one of the tool buttons and drag it a bit and they'll pop up.

    i have one more problem.
there are 3 windows on the side, right?
like the top one, where u can change the size of the screen of the pic and stuff. then theres the middle one, where u can change the colours. and the last one where there are lots of tabs.
problem is, i closed the top window, and i cant get it back, anyone help?

Oh, to get that back just go to "Windows" in the menu bar and click on "Layers" and the window will pop back up ;)

Check out some of the tutorials too, and post some of your work in the 'shop later on when you master it

On the tool menu on the upper left hand corner, that's the drag tool. This *gasp!* drags whatever is selected in the layer you're working on. If nothing is selected, you drag the whole layer. Or, you can be uber-lazy or smart (depending) and just hold down ctrl to hotkey it into the drag tool (aka the move tool).

For text, click on the T, and select the solid T from the upper toolbars, this causes you to write out text, instead of masking it in. To move it, you can do the holding down ctrl thing. I believe if you're typing, and you move the mouse outside the text box, then it automatically uses the move command. To start new text, you have to just select another layer, so the text you *just* wrote becomes a layer all it's own (it gets renamed into the text you wrote there) and then lay another text down. My suggestion is, don't use any more than 10 lines of text per text box. That way, you can edit a lot, or you don't slow down your computer (if it's slow already) to near coma-like speeds.

Cut and Drag is simple. Of course that's using hotkeys. Hotkeys, you will come to realize, is your ultimate photoshop friend. Trust me on that. Well, other than actions...but that's for later on. Anyway, select the lasso tool or the rectangular/ellipse select or the magic wand tool. Then, when you're happy with what you're going to drag around, just hold down ctrl and move the sucker. I just find it easier to move unto a new document. That's where the customary ctrl+x/c and ctrl+v come in.

You see that BIIIIIIIIG ol' thing that says Layer 1, background, etc.? Well, you just click on the layer that has the thing you want to move, then drag below the layer that you want it to be behind. If you wanna get anywhere in Photoshop, you'll need to know how to use those layers. It helps to name layers, too, while you're at it.

Name the left eye, "Left Eye." (RIP, Lisa Lopez)
    Name the finger, "Birdy."

    Use at your discretion.

Hold down on the Blur tool. It's the tear-shaped thing. Hold your left-mouse button over it, and it's the one that looks like a hand. The other tool is the Sharpen tool.

    Anything else?
