Art Neo's Manga Idea.

I see posts here and there about peoples wanting to do a manga and they all have pretty good ideas. But so far I've seen no manga ideas that focus on some good old butt-kickin.
Soooo.... I've always wanted to draw a manga ( it would be like a huge personal achievement) and I've been thinkin for some time on this story idea.

Heritic

Rio is your average highschool student. Likes food, girls, but also has a great love for fighting and will kick anyones butt who tries to start something with him. Then on his 15th birthday, in his sleep he has a dream of something tearing into his soul and burrowing himself deep inside it. When he wakes up the next day he notices himself stronger than he remembers. That afternoon on the way home from school he comes across a couple of 18 year old boys harassing the girl he has a great feelings for. He confronts them and they kick his butt, then continue to harrasse the girl, the extreme fury and feelings for that girl wakes up the spirit (of the Heritic) in his soul and grants him some extraodinary strength and power, then he then in a blind fury procceds to beating the crap out of the two guys. H will later find out about the legend of the Heritic and that he is not the only Hertic. Heritics have the power to save the world, or destroy it. And he will soon learn that he will have alot of tought fights in his future, not only to save the planet, but his life as well...

About Heritics:
During the transformation to Heritic stripes form on the body. A strip on either side of the cheek and one going down the forehead.
While in Heritic form he has the power to control the energies aroung him.
Heritics can become stronger by absorbing the Heritic spirit form the souls of Heritics they kill and adding it to thier own. This is why Rio is gonna have to fight for his life. THe is one Hertic who is bent on thge destruction of all life, and legend has it that he who posses all the Heritic spirits shall become a power greater than God.

Well that's a basic idea... I dont know why it's called a Heritic, I couldn't think of a name and that just kinda sounds cool.

The "absorbing spirits to strenghten his own might" is a sorta thing that has been done... Especially in Grandia2.
But I guess some things will never change afterall.
Though, I also have the stripe forming on my characters, even on the cheeks. Though, he doesn't get it on his forehead, but on his chin... but.. Don't steal the neon glow idea, that's mine!

Uh, other than that, try to keep away frorm basic storylines, people don't really like that. And try to thicke a nice original plot into it as well...

Also give the spirits a different name. Heretic's are a kind of person, so, try to change the name a bit, but don't fully change it, if you know what I mean...

And no manga's not based on good old butt-kicking? I think Street Fighter manga's etc. are best examples then..
