Sports Netball - what do you think?

Just wondering if anyone here plays, or used to play netball, and what you think of the game?

I help coach my local team, so obviously i'm a bit biased :sweat2:
as a game it's slowly becoming a contact sport, and has become much faster than it was just 10 years ago. I went to see the final of the National Netball League (Scotland) and it was crazy! it lasted an hour (four 15 minute quarters) and the final score was 56-55. it was incredibly fast.

I know that a lot of people think netball is boring and out of date, but what's your opinion?

Here, netball's becoming a much more respected sport. I play every week (yeah GD Spig :anime:. We're the best!)

Hell yeah it's becoming a contact sport. Just ask my left hip *ouch* Interschool netball can sure get rough. I used to play for a representative team, but after a couple of years I decided to just stick to school because it took up to much time. But I don't think I'll completley stop for a long, long time!

yeah it's rough although it is a great stress-reliever...

 

I play netball too, but im a GS. sorry guys, i end up attacking people if i GD.

It is like a crossbread of rugby and basketball.
you dont need to dribble and you get to be more aggressive, and you still have the hoops.

 

without the backboard! so it's bloody hard to score :anger2:
