YES!! This is awesome news!! Unbelievable!! [Does an irritating fanboy dance] The manga was a monster. Does this mean that they are going to parallel the anime with the manga (i.e. run parallel storylines) or are they going to pull something else?

Eitherway I'm down with it. Holy gads, i hope this doesn't get licensed before it even airs. I wanna see the fansubs!

Guess what... I just got my hands on a fansubbed version of the TV ad. It looks awesome I'm not sure if it would be OK to put a link here. Would I break any rule if I did?

Looking Forward

I love AMG series. I buy the manga all the time, plus I own the movie and ova. I just read about the new series yesterday in the current Newtype Magazine! I heard it's going to be really good. I wish it would air in US very soon. If not, I got hit China Town, lol.

 

This is so cool, I really want to see it now

 

As we all know, the series have been licensed by mediaworks (who did the Rurouni Kenshin license), currently, we don't know when the first dvd will be released, but I am pretty sure it will be whenever the japanese dvd is out.

We can all hope for that they cast the orignal OAV seiyuus and that they will make a good job over it.

First season is done! I must say that some parts were surprising, and some parts were rather, sad. But overall, great adapation from the manga, although I wished for 26 episodes instead of 24. Who knows, a second season might show up, but I like the fact that several familiar A!MS characters made their apperences. Sadly, not Peorth, which was one of the more let down moments of the anime.

Oh well, praying for a season two. Thank you TBS!

I forgot to post here for a while :sweat: After re-watching AMS OVA I came here. Well, the whole tv series were really good. Not considering a few flaws (Why did Belldandy address Keiichi as "-sama"!? He's a single mortal! Also Episode 20, which was so much simple compared to the manga). They did make many improvements to the story, specially in the Lord of Terror story arc. I pray for Season 2, very soon xD. The credits gave me the feeling that it's going to be made.

 

Wooot! Second season is in the making!

Here's an update for all you AMG fans. Okay, somewhat of an update. A second season has been started as of late Spring, early Summer, and they're are currently 8 episodes out. For all you Peorth fans, your awaited time has come. She has finally made an appearance, though you have to wait till episode 6 or 7 to see her. The series pretty much picks up right after the Lord of Terror incident.

 

The first season came out in DVD and it includes 2 new special episodes: 25 and 26.
