Neon Genesis Evangelion New Evangelion?

i recently got a Newtype magazine and it claims that Gainx(ok tats prolly spelled wrong) is considering making a new Evangelion sereis. I assume its true, and i'm happy!

 

It's not true. It's going back, taking the existing Evangelion, adding in a few new scenes and cleaning up others.

Thing of it as Neon Genesis: Evangelion: Special Edition.

 

Curses, i was hoping it was real. Oh well. But i'll probably get it(them?) anyway.

 

That's if they decide to bring it over. Dont worry though, knowing ADV, they'll probably pick it up pretty soon.

 

all they are going to do is clean up the colors and make it sharper..it looks better but i didnt kow they were going to add scenes i have the newtype magiznes aslo.where does it say that?

 

'Considering' is kind of a different thing. It seems to me what Newtype really said was that for this year, the Renewal (remastering) would be the major project in the first half of the year, and they expected to see 'something else' for the second half of the year. What that 'something else' is remains completely mysterious.

 

if you think about it, if they were to make another evangelion series, what would it be about? i think that end of eva bacically ended the series in definative way, and theres not much you can do after that. they could continue the original series, but i dunno how much better that would be...cause third impact and ish would eventually come back or something else and shinji would be all happy and not depressed and ish. soo...i guess im speculating, but a new series wouldnt have much to continue.
well they could remake wut happened with new characters er sumthing...ahhhh...im just rambling. ill stop now.

 

minjigga-san said everything I was going to say and more, since I've yet to see the second half of Eva. ^^; But! Maybe they could have a sort of AU thing... Though it wouldn't be as cool as Eva, it'd be interesting to see the characters in a "normal" setting. (What am I saying, I'll settle for a remastered series and a few new scenes. >.>)
