People have been suggesting different methods in which I could go about the doing the awards this next time around.

    Here are the suggested methods:

1)Have a Nomination process and those top, say, three winners in each category are put into separate poll threads, and users vote using polls for the final results.

2)Admins, Mods and Winners of the last award make nominations and all users participate in a poll voting.

3)Or there is the Current method.

I would be most grateful if everyone would participate in this poll, so I can choose the method which everyone would like to use. Thank you.

To tell the truth i dont understand why we need all those awards. For some reason it reminds me of a pageant or a popularity contest. If someone has the opinion about something they will just post, but if there are awards then people will post to get awarded, and if method2 is chosen then there would be a massive suck up to the mods(and if this happens i dont think this place would have a healthy atmosphere). Im not against awards, but i just dont see the need.

It’s for fun. Plain and Simple. :)

But please, next time, if you want to post a complaint/comment, please do so in the Suggestion or FAQ thread. You aren't really suggesting another method. Thanks.

I'll go for Method 2. I think that it seems more organized that way, and users can keep track of what's going on easier, instead of having to count post per post.
