Roleplaying Games New RPG idea with a Poll

Pretty much to get peoples opinions to see if we can try something new.

This is like Anime High School and Anime League but different. I wanted to see if we could try something new. It is called:

Anime Sliders

Storyline
Anime character Beet (from Beet the Vandel Busters) stumbled upon a new invention invented by an unknown source during his quest to bring Justice to his world from the Vandels. The invention unlocks the doorway to an infinite number of Animes.

Deciding to try it out, Beet finds out that this device not only allows a doorway into certain Animes but it has also changed part of the story. Now he must "Slide" from Anime to Anime, not only adapting to his changing surroundings, but also trying to get back to his own Anime. He must fix what he changed along the way.

Along the way he meets other characters that want to help in his quest. He wants to leave them behind but they also jump into the portal. Some companions join by choice and others because they had no choice.

Another problem arises the device has a timer Beet and his new companions must figure out where they are and what is wrong before the new portal opens for they could be stuck in that Anime forever if they miss that portal.

With home being a number of portals away will Beet ever finish his task and get his companions home and him?

For this if there are others willing to join in I will play Beet.

Beet is not really smart but he has a good heart. He believes in Justice. It makes him perfect for this RPG.

Beet is a Vandel Buster, just Buster for short. Busters fight with Tengeki (Holy energy in the forms of Air, Fire, Light, Thunder, and Water) or their own individual Saiga (A magic weapon made of Tengeki), the ultimate weapon used to fight evil. Beet lacks Tengeki so normally he wouldn't be able to produce a Saiga. Due to an unfortunate event Beet got five Saigas placed in him. I’ll go into that more if this picks up.

For this RPG others can play any anime and manga character.


So if there are any thoughts or questions post below.

 

i think it sounds pretty cool but who would the rest of us be? are own charcter from our own anime or a already made charcter from an already made anime?

 

Well the others would be users willing to particapate. They can choose any character from any anime and manga.

I really enjoy the idea of an Anime Sliders RPG it sounds intersting but I would find it hard to find a character to fit me well....

 

Ill join... but now i have to figure out who to be. This may take some time.

As far as characters go, you can play whomever you like. If I don't know the Anime I will just PM you for information.

Right now I am watching Beet the Vandel Buster.

 

That actually sounds like a lot of fun, but it would be hard to make things run smoothly....
Now for a character..hm.

You know what? I dont care what people think about this... but i would SOOOOOO be Ash Ketchum from Pokemon! Come on now.. I can call a legion of pokemon to do my bidding... yup I'd so be Ash... lol ( :anime: )

It may be a little more work on the story side. But it should be just fine.
