Transformers New TF Armada Game for PS

    It looks like there work is almost complete for a new TF game for the Playstation.

    They are not certain as to a release date--It could be as early as Christmas of this year and as late as 2004.

    Let's hope its a good one.

    Excellent... Got any pictures or sites that I can lay my eyes on with? The game 'beast wars' released a few years back didn't seem to be to good. I havn't played it but if it were to be the same type of game as Beast wars I may turn my back on it.

    Seibertron.com has the info about the game. They also had a link with some screen shots of the new name.

    I couldn't access it from my work PC because it was a gaming site.

    Let me know what you think of it.

    Is it called 'heavy metal war'? If so, it looks quite interesting... the online feature looks good.

    Bad news for the new game. The official release is that it wont be marketed outside of Japan.

    The only way we can play it here in the states is if our PS2 have been modified.

    The game will most likely be available through most TF trading companies.

    Here's the kicker--the game is mostly in Enlish, but wont be sold here.

    GAME UPDATE

    The new game will have a feature that allows users to play in either English of Japanese.

    So, bottom line is--if anyone has a PS2 from Japan or the converter that allows you to play those games, you could very well own this game.

    Maybe all these features were put in for a reason. Maybe if sales are good enough, they might consider releasing the game in the states.

    We can only dream......
