newbie / confused

can some one tell me what is up with all the different versions of the show? i remeber battle of the planets and gatchaman.

i got the dvd (vol 1) and it has an episode that is titled g force, and this was once called eagle riders also right??

bring an old fan up to speed please!!!!!

No worries, I was confused too. Sandy Frank bought the rights to Gatchaman and made Battle of the Planets. Turner bought the rights from Sandy Frank and turned it into G-Force. Saban bought the rights to Gatch II and Fighter and melted them into one series, Eagle Riders. ^_^ There's also a Gatchaman movie and a Gatchaman OAV. checked out that site... alot of info. and im more straight on whats what, it would be cool to see the original japanese scripts dubbed into english.
