No New Releases

According to Dr. Rhino, there are no current plans to release more Battle of the Planets volumes. However, I was told my note would be passed on to the right people.

Interesting that the first twelve episodes were released in both the UK and Australia on one disc, while in the US they were released on six discs. I'm thinking that only the first twelve episodes were upgraded for VHS and DVD release to see how sales went. Hopefully, they are good enough to justify releasing the rest of the series.

There's supposed to be another 12 episodes (I assume) released in the UK on 5th August, according to Blackstar.co.uk. Both Blackstar and play.com have packaging illustrations of the next volume, but no details of its contents.

This doesn't help for the Rhino releases though...
