Sailor Moon No Stars?

    Anyone know if they are going to release the Sailor Stars season? Why haven't they already? Will it kill the Pioneer people to finish the series?

    pioneer only did the movies. adv had a license through DiC to dot eh subtitled version of the show. unfortunatly, the license for the series has been allowed to cancel due to issues between animation studio and creater over who the licence originally belongs to. and the fact that stars has been rejected before doesn't add to it. no new sailor moon coming out state side anytime soon. there's a sticky about adv and the news article about this in this main sailor moon forum.

    i heard they werent gonna put sailor stars on the air in the us cuz of the outfits of the starlights and the gender-changing thing.

    i also heard that cause of the gender changing they wouldn't put it on the air.

    all i know.

    Maybe ADV will release it on DVD. Or Squaresoft (...um... the people who released Slayers and Utena and all that jazz... yeah, them). I doubt Squaresoft have any qualms about series containing gender-changing and homosexuality. I mean. Dude. (Then again, neither do ADV.)

    Basically, don't hold your breath for a TV release, and keep your fingers crossed for DVD's.
