Hey again!

I have a new drawing I thought I'd share. I got a tablet for christmas and it's been rather useful... Heh.

Very nice, I also like how the moon looks real. Also, i think the wings give her this effect making her look even cooler.

It took me forever to decide what she should wear. Looking at a picture of Amy Lee inspired me... lol

And my tablet is a Aiptek Hyper Pen... It was only about $80, but it seems to work well.

 

Amy Lee always holds inspiration clothing wise and make up wise. She wears lots of cool stuff.

Damn. I was thinking of getting that one but the only way I could get it was online. No credit card = pain in the ass to get. It looked better than the graphire 4x5 I got too. What have you been using your tablet for? (Sketching, inking, coloring, all of the above?)

 

Mine was purchased online... It had a lot of good reviews so my mom picked it out. The picture showed a cool blue one but I got a regular plain color instead.. *mumble*... lol

I use my tablet for several things...
I can sketch with it (example below), but it still feels a wee bit awkward... Heh.

I don't use it for inking. I use the pen tool or the lasso tool in Photoshop for lineart.
And I abuse the thing a much as possable when it comes to coloring. lol

In the picture above, I used the tablet for the shades and highlights, as well as the detail in her hair and on the scythe. The actual drawing was done in real life, then scanned and inked with the pen tool.

 

thats neat where did she get the TABLET?

 

Uhm... I'm really not sure where she got it...

I'm sure a search on Google will give you some stores, though.

 

Oooo... it's beautiful and gothic. And though it's been said, the moon is A+. You should try some night-time landscapes, I bet you'd be really good at them.

 

Ooo, I love that emotionless expression on her face! Im trying to draw those, but my drawings always come out cheerfull if they have their eyes open. Trying to practice...I'll use your drawing as refference!

Goth. chiks are awesome good work. I can tell your a really good artist I really like your ideas. You got to teach me how to draw chiks like that.

but i just donnow y did u left some curves on the out lines with corners! was that a line tool? also...the airbrushes on the wings sounds cheap to me, a good artist who use tools proficiently ^__~ good work dude.

 

nice. the girl looks kinda squareish though.
