Ranma 1/2 o.o Ummm...?

I have two things to say. One's a comment, the other's a question.

First the comment:
I tuned in to Ranma 1/2 this morning and I watched a little bit because the opening theme was so cute! It was translated into Spanish and, since I'd already seen a few eps with my cousin, I thought, "Hey. This really DOES go with the series!" Yet another reason why I think Spanish translations are better. ^^

Now the question:
Has this board always been these wacky yellow colors? I mean, I'm not fond of yellow, but it looks great when put together with the right tones! And the li'l hit thingees with swirls....are just so cute! ^^

 

It's been here almost from the beginning, if not the very beginning. It wasn't always yellow. The swirly things are pickled onions I think. Watch the stuff they eat that always ends up hitting someone in the cheek.

I like the colors I use them for all the forums actually (it's set to my default) It was a welcome change after seeing the white and green for so long. I thought I'd get sick of it, but haven't yet

They're fish-cake, seafood-helper-type-thingies that get put in bowls of ramen. I've eaten one. It was so-so to eat but very cute, I agree.

Many of you prolly know this, but for those that don't and so I can hear myself type, here goes: a weird tidbit on that ep.

It was supposed to be in season 1 instead of two. It was actually supposed to happen before Shampoo was introduced (notice the flashback to the ice skating ep during the Shampoo introduction eps?)

It was bumped back to season 2 because the shampoo intro was bumped up to season one. Why? Shampoo was a very popular character so to grab interest quickly that first season, they moved her intro up. How could she be popular before her intro? think manga.
