    My sister is getting a new pc tower and hers is the only computer linked to the internet so I might not be here for a while until we get the new system up and running.

    Hope it won't be too long...

    Thanks all!

    Well the expected happened! The new systems seems to be one of those that is so sensitive that just looking at it the wrong way sends it into a fit and makes it freeze up! Having to use the old system until the new one comes back...when they figure out exactly what's wrong with the seemingly nitro glicerine filled thing!

    Yeah, I know how do you feel, well, kind of :sweat:

    As long as my laptop is using WinXP as OS, the old PC should be WinXP too for me to be able to use the internet using Network Sharing System. And Wheever I open XP in the old PC [which I can use between XP and 98] it can't stay more than 5 mins and freezes. So I thought formatting it would help, but nope.
    So we replaced Win98 with WinMe and it help me alot.. even though XP still freezes [because we need to upgrade the HD.

    But it was one really tough time and now I am happy with the waiting results ^^ .. so I hope you be happy to for all this waiting :)

    Well, the new computer was in our hands again for less than a day before it refused to even load Windows, let alone Safe Mode.

    This is turning out to be so much fun!

    Finally, the new tower is linked to the internet but not without niggling teething trouble.
