    yeah, i saw a link for that a while back, but it said "us" version not live version, so i was a lil confused.

    now that i know they mean live version.. ICK!

    god.. imagine who will they get to play kaneda?... leonardo di caprio or something like that.
    *shudder*

    and a live action ninja scroll?... oh lordie, wonder how they will play kegaro(spelling?). what wth the "can't have romance" thing. i'm sure they'll throw a few love scenese in there nonetheless and ruin the whole bloody story, as they do.

    do you have a link to the story bout live action ninja scroll?

    That sucks a whole barrel of dicks.
    I'd reccomend moving this to Anime/ misc so that the general public can see it.

    No one is sure if this is a joke or not but it's been said that John Leguisiamo (or however you his name) will be playing Tetsuo.

    Well, at least Disney will probably do a good job on Spirted Away.

    I stick to Eirtaku and the rubbish Macross forum so I can't be arsed posting elsewhere.

    Really should though, as Eirtaku is dead and suking.

    Are they serious..?! How are they going to trun this great animation to a movie. I cant even imagine the ending of the movie. Special effects wont even come close to the impact that the animation left us with

    Yeah, I'd heard about this about a month ago. Doesn't sound too promising, especially with Hollywood's animated->live-action record...

    Then again, mayhaps there's the outside chance they might pull it off? You never know....at the very least, it might pull in a few interested viewers to the "real" Akira?

    Let's not forget that Fox bought the rights to DBZ and that they intend to make a live action film based on that too. There are links for those news clippings in the DBZ forum.
