Waoh, oil paints! In my Intro to Painting class this semester, we're using oil paints too! (Our's is not water-soluble, so we have to use this greasy/gooey stuff called Liquin to thin it out.) So after trying out oil paints myself for the first time (and messing up a lot), I have to say that your painting is really nice! It's a beautiful concept, and the subject's pose is quite expressive. However, the lighting isn't realistic in some areas, like near the bottom of her clothes and the backs of her thighs (those would do well with shadows). And the girl's body is a lil too short in the torso/collarbone area. Although you have some mis-proportions (like her right arm) it's still a nice picture. I like the hair and head too, even though I usually don't like volumous hair.

okay.. if I'm to give a critique, the work doesn't seem finished yet. perhaps its the skin tone.. if you add some orange into the mix?
and yes cleaning up is a real pain! thats another reason I love watercolours so muhc. I can just leave all the paints on the palette and use them again later ^__^
