Ok, yeah know how later in the season, Kikyo's grave was robbed of it's bones and other stuff I'd rather not mencion. How can they take the bones? By what I know, Kikyo had Keade burn his with the shikon to tama. Her bones were burned! There was probably nothing left but her ashes right?

    ??????

Yea, I know, on the ep it said that her grave was robbed of its bones. And I think I've heard it say that in the menga too.

I agree, but what if they just burned her flesh and skin not the bones since they don't spacificly say that Kikyo was burned all the way to her bones.

  5. it didnt specify that the bones were burned...all it said was that "she" was burned...maybe they waited untill she was done cooking and took her bones and buried them before her bones burned to ashes.

hmmm. I would have to say that she didn't burn all the way down to her bones. So, when the fire went out, and some bones were left they buried them. there, simple.

i heard ashes as well. But it's not impossible that there are some small bones in the urn/pot/vase/whatever u wanna call it.

Yeah. Generally, with cremation on a pyre in ancient times (rather than in a crematorium in modern times), the fire doesn't get hot enough to completely burn everything away. Usually, charred bones are left behind, but this is usually only parts of bigger bones. So even in a pot of Kikyo's ashes, there could probably be small charred bones. And watching the fansubs, I seem to recall someone mentioning ashes and bones. ::shrug:: I have to rewatch the series. ^_^

Ah, whatever. ^_^ If it's ashes of her bones, it still counts as bones, right?
