Square Enix Ok. Whats the worst thing?

Ok. I was going to buy ff7, but my mom was going to buy if for me because she insitsted on getting me an easter present, and when I told her that I'd like ff7, she said ne becasue it's all gorry and violent. Now, I'll I've heard is good things about it, and my parents are the only ones who seen to think it's innapropriat. Could you tell me how bad it really gets, cause I'm getting mixxed opinions here, and bearily any of them make any sence.

 

There is no gore in ff7. There is voilence... (u using your wepon to kick @**!!!), but other than that... I dont think there is nething wrong with it. Unless your the kind of person who thinks a sword fight is too much.

Does any one know of a way I can prove that to my parants?

 

You can either show your parents this messageboard to see how many people say that it's now gory, or you could also search for pictures from the game, be it screenshots or FMV sequences, and show them that there isn't any gore (though this may spoil the game, if you watch something you don't know about!)

There is no gore in ff7 at all. And as for the violence it doesn't get worse than a red flash when your enemy dies.*_* so compare one of your "worst" games to ff7 and tell them that ff7 isn't nearly as bad as it.

I was thinking of having them rent it, play it for themselvs, and then ask. Do you guys think that'd be a good idea?

Er,yeah!Why not sit 2 disaproving technophobiacs in front of an RPG fot a test drive!They'd treat more like awkward family member than a game!

This is actualy some gore! but its like one tiny 10 min part of the game..

you could always go and get the original FF games.. they dont have any gore.!

When Aeris is stabbed, the blade just goes through, no gore.


Or when the Weapon that attack Junon got it's head blown off. That was quite amusing.

FF7 is a wonderful game, and it has very very very very little gore. I wont mention any specifics in the game, but the worst it gets is really fake looking blood. Your parents are obviously misinformed, my friend.
