ok, who here likes Saitou? *raises hand*

Aku, Soku, Zan. i live by this code, and carry it out! ...well, not exactly kill, but kick, bite, or scratch at least! Muahahahahaha! but the thing is, i don't know much at all about Saitou's background, can anyone help me out?

 

anyway its just a threory that Saitou had killed someone forcing him to leave his home. its also assumed that he was born 1/1/1844 because his name Hajime implies the start or the first of the first meaning 1/1/1844...he was born in the Kanda Kogawa district of Edo. His family consisted of his father Yamaguchi Yusuke and his Mother Masu, his Brother Hiroaki and his sister Katsu. he was married to Takagi Tokio. he was married in 1873. they had three children Tsutomu, Tsuyoshi, and Tatsuo. During the Boshin War he was sperated from his troop. he took part in the Seinen war as a member of the sword bearing police, under the name Fujita Gorou in the year 1877. he later became a spy directly responsible to the Police Commissioner, Kawaji Toshiyoshi. after retiring from the police force he became a security gaurd at a museam...he was quite old at this point. he died on September 28, 1915 at the age of 72 from a stomach ulcer from excessive drinking. He has one surviving member of his family that i know of. well thats some of what i know...

Saitoh was definately a ver interresting character. He was one of the famous Shinsengumi besides Okita^_^ His demeanor is very cool...he reminds me of my brother lol and his theories and tactibility(is that even a word?) is incredible.

 

yes, ^_^ Saitou is the best. but i have 3 characters that i favor over the rest.

Saitoh is very cool character, but I can't decide who's cooler, he or Sanosuke. Probably Saitoh.

I believe you 'cause it's true and I knew it already. It is not stated in anime if I remember correctly, but it is stated in manga for sure.
