When it comes to rock music, do you prefer the old school style or the newer stuff? Maybe it's the way old, the "classic rock" for you? Maybe you have no preference at all.

I don't lisen to rock I'm a more of a R&B or Pop type of girl. But if I had to choose it would have to be new school. Whould No Doubt be considered rock since I love them.:)

i have no real preference...i listen to lots of stuff...i grew up with old music(ozzy, acdc, zz top, boney m...) and love the new stuff(live, dave matthews, smashmouth(with exception tp the new albulm)). so, it's all good. normally like the heavier stuff...system of a down, or around there...(brujereia or however you spell that). i've happy as long as i can sing along to it in the privacy of somewhere away from anyone hearing me, or at work.*^-^*

The thing with No Doubt is that they don't fit into a genre. Their older music is like Ska or Punk/Ska, but their newer music is sort of Pop/Rock-ish. Not real rock, but not quite pop either, if you know what I mean.

By the way, I went with classic. The old that is strong does not wither. You can't go wrong with some old Santana or The Beatles. Hendrix rocked too.

Dude, Staind and Linkin Park aren't even close to the same genre. Nu Metal is all that stuff with the rap-like vocals and the dj's and all that.
