It's kinda hard, knowing that some of your characters have those sort of chibi faces but with breasts (so they must be older than what their faces tell us). The young Sharon looks about 14, and the older one looks about 19 I guess. Hard to tell!

umm if I picture gray hair on her, I'd say 40 years and she looks pretty good for around 60! maybe colour older Sharon in?

considering it's Chejo's OWN style of cging, that many see him as one of mangatoanime's best CGers, perhaps when you wake up you could point out some good in his work?

oh no dont get me wrong im not singling him out or anithing , im giving something called constructive criticism , im just saiyng that the colors are very very saturated , even if it is cel style shading .
When a person posts theyre art on a board , they expect criticism atleast , unless your just a person looking for praise and not geting any better at your work :)
so i just wanted ot say that befor you started to flame me on the crits i give .

Hmm i guess it just must be me but i can't see a age change in any of them, i see them both as same old.

It's the exact same Character, so said the same drawing just with some other colors for me that doesn't change their age. As in fact the way i see it they could be twins.

Actually nelo_wolf, you weren't giving constructive criticism. You were only saying negative things. They call it constructive criticism if you say how someone can improve. Simply saying bad things is really just insulting, for example if I tell someone they're fat or ugly, that's not being constructive at all!

As for simply thinking that Chejo's CGing is junk, well it's not. Like Seraphim said, Chejo has a unique style (which is something that thousands of lame wanna-be artists will never have). Plus it's good to have a variety artists and their styles on this site, cuz that's how artists inspire each other. Using maximum-saturated colors is fine, when you know how to work with them. (Besides, most anime and American cartoons use highly saturated colors all the time.)

And Lucifer, we're comparing the two pics at the top of the page, not the two colored versions of the second pic. Chejo CGed the second pic because it wasn't colored yet, but he did it again with gray hair because Seraphim brought it up.

I like all of the CGs, I do.

I agree with Seraphinx on the age issue. If only we could all stay looking so fresh and young! Grown up Sharon aged gracefully. :) Though one teeny thing, with the CG you did with Sharon with gray hair, Chejo, I would add some wrinkles to the face and neck (especially around the eyes), if you want her to look sixty. Not a lot of them, even, but a few. When her face is wrinkle-free, she still looks young to me despite the hair color. It's your CG though, you don't have to do it. Just a suggestion.

    Good work on everything!

I do have to say Chejo CGed the pics very good i like the style, i personaly could never do it that good. Great Job

I also have to say i respect every ones Work and Drawings they show here, as im sure they all give their best and every one of you can be proud of their Art. And it's also true that diffrent styles make the Art more interesting, everyone creats a Own style with in time, only diffrent style all Drawings would look pretty much the same and that would turn boring with time. So everyone of you keep up the great work.

lol your saiygn thats not constructive criticism .. lol yes it is , i never said somethign like " o your cg's suck they look like crap" i only said that i dotnlike the saturated colors and that the lines are to thick , that IS constructive criticism , and no im not being negative , im aware that its his own style.
    calm down abit ok ^^
oh and chejo ?? bad guy ... so if a person gives crits hes a bad guy ? wow ..
yes i said the same thing about your cg aswell saber ^^ and thats cause of the saturated colors .. theyre just way to saturated .. allot of people use them its true
but the thing is all newbies use saturated colors aswell , hell ive used em befor in my cgs even though i dotn cg much , but i avoid using them , ofcourse you can use them , that is if youknow how to use them ^^

let's just leave it at that, alright?

Everyone, in your posts, if you find things to critique, either positive or negative, always if leaving negative comments about artwork please try to find a positive comment as well and place it towards the end of your post. Now, let's continue to discuss Chejo's artwork. This ends the argument.
