Anime OMG the movie... and query on the series...

I've watched all five of the volumes of Oh my goddess!

My query is that were some episodes deleted from the series? I mean There are some characters I didn't see at the series. Like Peorth... Who is she anyway?
The gil w/ glasses *I forget her name* she was shown at the opening of the series looking at the guy w/ glasses *I fogot his name also * Anyways he's the guy who had a bet with keichi at the race...

I'm sorry If I sound confusing but really there are somethings I didn't see at the series and I hope I would see at the movie..

are there 5 volumes only? Did anyone see those characters in the movie and were they introduced there?

 

sorry to say this, but those characters are *not* introduced in the movie, the movie occurs 2 years after the start of the OVA. I presume to say (though I have no real authority on the matter) that a previous knowlege of the manga is assumed with the movie, as those characters, Peorth, &such are used therein... and as far as I can tell, they're not 'introduced' anywhere but there, the same with the stories surrounding Urd and Skuld's Angels, they're covered in the manga, and used in the movie. It's an excellent movie too, BTW.

Hope this made some sense, I'm tired and lacking time to re-read it
