Music Opera!

Favourite opera songs? Any takers?

I have to go with O Fortuna, I think written by Carl Orff (or something like that).

I'm singing that song this year for a competition. Yes, I sing opera.

i don't really fancy opera but i can listen to it if theres nothing else to do. i don't meen to make fun of it but the girls voices get to shrilly for me.

I sing opera. I don't have a shrilly voice. Sure, my voice is very high when I sing, but not shrilly.
My speaking voice, on the other hand.... ^_^

 

Besides, that's only the really high sopranos. If you look at the tenors and bass, that's a lot cooler.
Placido Domingo, Luciano Pavarotti, both tenors.
You can't make an opera out of all high singers. That's just what you see on TV because it's easier to joke about.
