Full Metal Alchemist Opinions about Roy Mustang:The Flame Alchemist

Come on! You knew this was coming! We did the Elric brothers, and Armstrong, so why not the the man himself?--Anyways.

You've watched FullMetal Alchemist for a long time now (haven't you). And by popular vot, Roy Mustang was voted the best (by far). But people want to know why?

So tell me:What are your opinions on the Flame Alchemist-Roy Mustang?

Hope it helps you think. It's an image from the epside FullMetal Vs. Flame, and Mustang says :"When i become fuhrer (don't know how to spell it), all female personel will be required to wear--SUPER SHORT MINI-SKIRTS!!"

Well? Come on! What do you think about this guy? Cool? Uncool?(as if).Funny? There's got to be some thoughts on him!

I think he's hilarious. his humor just makes the storyline so great. One of the scenes i remember is they're in the rain and he's about to use his alchemy when the bad guy goes, not word for word, "Can't" and hes like "why not" and he says, "its raining, the water would put it out" and then he does one of those hilarious anime shocker scenes, hahaha, sighs*, any ways, thats what i think.

 

The funny thing is that I had no idea what to expect about any of the characters on the show. I only knew the background storyline. So when I actually started watching the show I thought that Mustang would be this serious guy. But i liked him anyways. But know to know that he is actually a funny character...well it makes him even better. He has a good character; a lot of personalities, the kind of character were you cannot predict his every move.

 

Mustang!? He's the best. There's no one like him. Why!? Because he's the freaking man! He rules. Thats why in my recent RPG he is the Legendary Flame Alchemist.

If you're refering to Episode 19:Marcoh's Notes, then let's just say that that wasn't Mustang's best moment. There's better ones of him in other episodes, like "FullMetal Vs. Flame". So far, i think that's his best episode yet. Maybe's because you're used to the Japanesee voice (if you watched it in Japanesee), and you're so used to it, that seeing another actor play Mustang is kinda disapointing.

The first few times I saw him, I didn't like him, but then after a few more times I started to like him more, he has a good personallity. Though at times he can be a bit dull. I guess for me he is a character that grows on you.

 

Yeah, i suppose you're right, my apologies. But you gotta understand, the guy's like my hero. Still, as cool as he may be, I think i can think of someone funnier. What i'm preety much getting at is, Mustang's BAD A$$, so it can't be helped. Hope you understand...

Hehe....INDEED! Mustang grew on me as a hero. I mean look at the guy! He's a hero to most state alchemists, since he's the only one who can put up a fight against scar! Hehehe!

You must remeber though, he did try to fight Scar in the rain. I haven't got close to end yet, so I am just waiting to see what else he will do in the show.

 

Although trying to fight Scar in the rain was about to be the biggest mistake of his life, he somehow turned the tides and made it funny by doing one of his priceless expressions. Hopefuly he keeps that up, and someday, completes his ultimate goal:"Become the Fuhrer!"

No, not really. He may be one of the coolest characters but what I don't like is his weakness, yes, water.

 

Well, it'd be kind of dumb if he didn't have a weakness. Everyone always has a weak point, unfortunately for Roy, the most abudnant element on Earth is his.....

Nevertheless, he's one great character. The first time I've seen him, I don't know, but I liked him very much. The fact he's almost always serious, and yet, has this funny side of him (like when talking on the phone to Major Maes Hughes), not to mention he's even sort of perverted gives him one complete personality. It's like he has it all. Goes bad for the water part though. But isn't it nice that he has these trusted people who works under him? Like Hawkeye for example. They keep him from trouble at times. So all in all, he's wonderful to me.

 

I LOVE Roy! he's so funny and hes hot too :sweat2: hes been my favorite character since he was first on the show (followed closely by Hughes of course ) I watch FMA just to see if I'll get to see him :blush2:

 

You usually see Roy around, especially in the current episodes being shown, since they're on central, and crap loads of stuff is going on at the same time...
