The Nintendo 64 did have a really annoying stick. Too much Goldeneye brings too much pain on the fingers.

And, never forget my finger pain when me and my mates had a 7 hours fighting game spree on the PS2.

Tekken Tag, Tekken 4, Soul Calibur II and Dead or Alive II.

Don't really have much complaints with control pads. However, some games are not suited to certain control pads... like the X box controller, I tried playing Streetfighter Anniversary: 3rd Strike on this and the controller was too bulky for it. Also the black and white buttons strayed too far down for it to be pressed. My hands just ached after a bit. Prefer the PS controllers as it is effectively hollow at the back.

I dunno about video games, but my index finger is (I think) on the verge of getting a blister from using my mouse wheel too much. :p

Plus my forearms have hurt from typing too much (Carpal Tunnel? I hope not), and my legs have felt weak from spending too much time in my computer chair without a break.

Oh yeah, I was playing Street Fighter 2 for the Genesis, and I kept tearing the skin off my thumb trying to use Hadouken. It got so I had to hold the controller funny and use my finger instead because my thumb hurt too much. I think they should have made the D-pad a bit softer on Genesis controllers.

In my rage and conquest to defeat a game, I do not feel pain.
It hurts afterwards. Simple things like sore thumbs, or probably the entire hand. Ussually I kick something in my anger because I was probably thinking the game was cheap at that time, or the physics or something was making me mess up....so my feet and/or legs hurt otherwise. Never had anything TOO particular anyways.

The worst ouchie I ever got was during a game of Smash Brothers. Someone started swinging their controller around and whapped me right on the head.

Yeah the worst I've had are either DDR related, or I remember playing on my SNES for like 8 hours straight one day and I got some sort of blister or other on my thumb.

    Not fun.

You know those things that you get on your legs when you don't move 'em for a long time? Like those blistery thingies? Yeah, that's what my diagnosis was.

How the heck do people's skin tear off their fingers while playing video games? o_O I'm sorry i can't see that happening, 1) because it never happened to me and 2) upon looking at a controller i don't see what your skin could get caught on, or how it could.

Heh, I'm good with video games. I know when to stop playing before my fingers start to hurt, and i usually just play RPGs like Final Fantasy where you only need to press the button and move the stick a bit. Oh and I have callouses on my fingers. Not big ones like the ones guitar players have, but my fingers are tough. :)

The only big ouchie I can think of while playing a game was when i played DDR for the first (and hopefully last -_-) time. My feet were so sore afterwards because i was dumb and saw everyone else stomping so i figured I should stomp too. -_-

The worst one i got was playing Mario Party and you had to rotate the stick really fast so the shy guy wouldn't poke you... it hurts for days if you do it to much.
