Yes I know it's a manga but now it's going to be made into an anime. I found this out at AnimeNEXT which jut ended as I am posting this. This was said by the creator/director of OutLaw Star Takehiko Ito so Outlaw Star fans rejoice and only one possible spoiler for the show

Hmmm....interesting. Very interesting. I'm looking forward to seeing what develops with this information. Sure, Outlaw Star might not be the best series in the world, but it certainly is a fun one, and I'd like to see the continuation.

You were invited to come with me but no and to answer your question I havn't the foggest but it is an anime and I never said she was alive so we will ave to see in about a year or 2 (pre-production hasn't started in Japan yet)

 

COOL! I just finished watching the first series. I finally got around to it. Hard to beleive I haven't seen it until now, isn't it?

I'm going to go write down ""OLS 2 coming out in the next few years" somewhere or another, beleive me, I'll do that because I forget a lot, and in a year or two I would have completely forgotten. Now I know to watch out for news on it. Now just where to write it...Lol.

I love Outlaw Star

I just hope they can capture the feeling of the first show,because if not.....well it will just ruin my opinion of Outlaw Star.And at the moment,my opinion is that it's a kick-*** original show. And that whole Hilda thing is kinda stupid........

A few years back a supposed OLS sequel, "Sword of the Wind", was announced and there were several sketches floating around the internet of a slightly older Gene and Melfina. However, last I heard, the idea had been trashed, and there would not be a sequel to OLS.

So this is interesting indeed! I wonder if the series will have a similar plot to Sword of the Wind's? (Supposedly the major characters were going to be in college... yes, sounds silly, doesn't it?)

I heard that this takes place in the Outlaw Star universe,so doesnt that make it a semi-sequel?

I wanted to check it out a few years ago,but I heard from a few people that it totally blows.
