Do You have you're PC overclocked?
if yes, How much? explain method...(if u want too...)

    I have a 1800+ (1533Mhz) it's overclocked to 2000+ (1640Mhz only 30Mhz shy of true 2000+ rating)

    I only moved the FSB a bit faster... from 133Mhz to 143Mhz, 147Mhz didn't want to boot...(completely)

I have a ECS K7S5A motherboard... modified BIOS for OC (cheepo rom)
    which has aditional settings...
PCI latency, APIC(for CPU) & additional latencies for DDR ram

I saw/read that on their site and on the show. They're pretty nutty to do that, especially running a conduit very near the processor. But, that's the way I like it!!! When they sampled the processor...it straight read 4.097 Ghz. Thanks for reminding me about that EB...I have now a project once I get my desktop....DUAL OVERCLOCK!! MUAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA!!

I remember when I first overclocked my comp. it was a p3 at 750mhz, and overclocked it to 900mhz. It ran fine for a couple of weeks, games ran faster, computer ran a bit faster. then in about 2 months later, while using my comp, I smelt smoke. I ran down stairs to check if I left the stove on. When I came back up stairs, my comp was smokin'. Luckily I had a small fire extinguisher. I pretty much lost everything, and had to go out and buy a new comp. I will never ever overclock ever again.

[EDIT]No my bad it was only up to 850mhz[/EDIT]

damn... smoke... i've never been able to fry my pc like that... heh...
did you had heatsink w/ fan cooling?
    7.5 * 100 = 750Mhz
so 850/7.5 must be... 112? right?

    well i had a P2 not so long ago... was a 350 one, I OC to 392Mhz
which was 112*3.5 from 100*3.5 and it ran like a beauty...

the most i've been able to OC this pc is
    from 1.533Ghz (133*11.5)
    1.59Ghz (138*11.5)
    & 1.64Ghz (143*11.5)
most most was (147*11.5) 1.69Ghz, but didn't wanted to finish booting up... (heavy OS, WinXP Pro)
