CLAMP Works Overrated?

I don't know why I'm even bothering to post this is the CLAMP section, I'll probably be flamed to death. ^_^

Do you think CLAMP is overrated? I'm not saying they suck, but I get so sick of hearing "CLAMP, CLAMP, CLAMP!" over and over again. I love 'em, but honestly some of the mangas I read and I was pretty unimpressed with compared to their other works. But just because it says "CLAMP" on the front, everyone instantly proclaims it a classic.

 

That's very true. CLAMP has a lot of works, and not all of them are equally as good. Miyuki-chan in Wonderland is an example of that....

 

I have to say some of their art is over-rated, maybe its just me, I just think the way they draw their men it is so unrealistic, they make their shoulders overly broad, and their rest of the body too skinny, I really enjoyed the drawing of Clamp in everything, but the rest of the way they draw their people, it's not really what i happen to like, some of their girls faces are very squished..

I was never really impressed with CLAMP... especially in things like Magic Knight Rayearth, Card Captor Sakura, Chobits, X, etc... and then again I was never too keen on, namely, the artwork. So, I guess that might be why I sort of cringe when everyone and their mother says their favorite manga artists are CLAMP.

Though I haven't been exposed to many CLAMP products (which I'm considering a good thing), so... my opinion might be biased.
