Well my mood did about a 180... thanks to classes.
Anywho... I looked at my mail and saw that apparently I had a package at the mail room. This is peculiar because I get mail from three sources: my parents, the school, and an alumni in Atlanta that decided to adopt me along with some other freshmen... she's the person I get the most mail from. No one sends me packages.... not even my parents, then again I'm only across town from them... So I walk across campus to retrieve this mystery package. I haven't told any one my adress, so the one person I would like a package from has no way to send me anything, well except to mail it to my home. So I get to the mail room and check my mail box... a silly thing to do since no package could fit in there, that and if it could the mailroom people wouldn't have emailed me. I went over to the desk and said that I had a package... They knew me by sight and yet I really have no clue who they are... I'm forgetful :sweat2:. Anyways, I had expected maybe one of those bubble lined envelopes, you know the yellow kind, or maybe a flat cardboard US Mail envelope type package.... They pulled out one of the yellow types and one of the US Mail ones.... and then pulled out a large package for me. It was wrapped in brown paper, the type related to brown paper bags, and it was about the size and shape of a cake box. Now no one ships cakes by standard mail, so I had no clue (and still don't... I'll open it after I catch up to where I am) what was in it. It was from the lady in Atlanta. I walked back to my room... more than half the time trying to balance the box on my head. It was rather light. When I got to my room I carefully opened the paper at one end, using my multitool knife to open it, and discovered a Pottery Barn box!!!! (amazing no? we don't have those here... maybe in Tuscaloosa...)
Okay... you're caught up, now on to the box. Grr... more packing tape... HAHAHA I defeated the tape....Ooo a card... and a snow man ornament... aww best wishes says the cards....Red tissue paper... off white I'm packing something fragile paper.... WHAT COULD IT BE THE SUSPENSE IS UNBEARABLE....... Oooo something wrapped up... a candy cane.. a Quaker Chewwy bar.... another one... a red fleece throw... Mint Cocoa in a box... gourmet microwave popcorn... and more of that paper....hmm the red paper clashes with my throw blanket thing.... but only slightly. AH HAH that mint cocoa box was deceptive... Chocolate Hazelnut, Chocolate Rasoberry, Chocolate Supreme, and Chocolate Mint. *sniffle* that is one of the nicest things anyone has done for me in a long time.... and I haven't ever written her back... Heh the bag isn't taped.... therefore I don't have to wait till christmas to open it =D. Oooooo 1 green tea, 2 chamomile teas(ugh), 1 jelly belly reindeer corn, 1 jelly belly christmas mix, 1 swirls and stripes lollopop, 2 small sun maid raisins boxs, 5 miny tootsie pops, 1 lipton cup a soup, 1 peppermint herb tea, 9 sugar packets, 3 peppermint like objects, 1 bag of christmas chocolates, 1 Clip-it clip green, 1 burt's bees honey lip balm, 1 pink pen, 1 miny scotch tape despenser that is purple.... My parents never sent me any thing like this... not even when I was at camp.... oh well, it's not like I wrote to them that often. Now I should write a letter....

Maybe I understated the size.... *looks at the box* Perhaps it is about 110% the size of a cake box.
Alumni.... How do you spell it? You know, someone that has graduated from a school...
    Um... I don't know Spanish...

Alumni is the Spanish word for student.

I don't know what the size of a cake box is therefore I don't know what to compare that box to.

I think someone that has graduated would be called a graduate? I'm not actually sure if there's a real name for that.

Alumni sounds right. Those are peeps who've already graduated.

Mmmm, that sounds like christmas in a box. How nice.
