Square Enix Parasite Eve

    Okay, there's something that I've been wondering about since I beat the game the first time-
    What does the ending actually mean?

    **spoilers**
    I mean, they sit at the opera, and they're eyes start to glow a pink color. My mind has been boggled ever since. I just don't understand.

    If some kind soul would tell me, I would be more than happy. I mean, I understand the story but the ending just confuses me!!!

    Oh, you missed the best part of that whole scene!

    Okay, flashback to the first Opera scene with Eve. When Eve and Aya meet glances, Aya's eyes have that same glint in them. We later learn that it is a sign of evolution (which is why she was the sole survivor of that incident). Her cells have adapted to the point where they are able to fight off the other branch of evolution (Eve).

    In the second Opera scene, Aya suddenly becomes aware of something around her - visually shown with the glinty eyes. She is no longer alone, as everyone had now adapted and evolved.
