Slayers Universe Pen and Paper?

    Another Baka question (that works on so many levels!)...

    Anyone know if an RPG system was ever created for the Slayers? I don't mean a video game or a Message Board/Mailing List thing, but an actual honest-to-goodness-roll-the-dice-build-your-character sort of thing...

    I know there have been a few Fuzion releases for Anime style games (DBZ, Teenagers From Space...), but has it been done for Slayers by ANYONE, even unofficially?

    BakaMattSu, ask a Baka question get a Baka answer... I think that's how that works, but I'm not sure...

    Well, it's not an actual, 'only for Slayers' one, but BESM can emulate it. I've got a physical copy of the rules book, and a scanned copy on my computer... (MO, shall I apply the mangaviewer to this one? it would only take about 5 filename edits to make it a completely uniform, 2 page per picture series) Perhaps I should explain, BESM is a generic anime roleplaying system flexible enough that it can handle the Slayers Universe. I was just browsing around and I tripped on a convention RPG list, and sure enough, someone had a Slayers adaptation of BESM. Someone out there has made it, if they've published it to the net or otherwise, that's another question entirely. BESM is published by the 'Guardians of Order' at http://www.guardiansorder.com/ There's just a suggestion.. apparantly some people are also playing Slayers in a system based on D&D 3rd Edition.

    Yeah, I had supposed there would definately be adaptations of generic rulings to fit in Slayers (since there's almost enough base material to incorporate it)... and I had neglected to think of Big Eyes, Small Mouth as well...

    So then, I would suppose that the best idea would be just to use what there is and fit a ruling system to match it, eh?

    'cause the copy of the handbook I have on my hard drive is all in jpeg, 2 pages per image. and it'd be much easier to view if I adapted the mangaviewer to it, then added my special touch, indexing topics and such.

    Ooh! I'd love to see the finished result sometime... *hint* *hint*

    I'll be sure to let you know... I just finished getting the filenames *completely* normalized, so now I can start with coding. I may have to toy with another idea I had with the Ranma Manga viewer.. it's much more feasable with this script.
