Art Pencil Rough

well, I guess it's not only pencil. I messed around with photoshop for the background (and I have NO photshop skills, wishing...)~ I'm wayyy too lazy to do background for the moment... and too lazy to do it well... Critique please! ... must become as great as shonen... eventually...

That's pretty good and realistic. The nose & mouth are a lil off-centered compared to the eyes, but that's ok. The skirt section is pretty original (a lil comfusing but still interesting).

 

Great Job! You have good detail.
Although the hand that the girl is holding out, I think the 2nd finger is a little too big but otherwise it's really good.

woooooooooooo... it reminds me of I''S... taht expression on her face ehhehe.. btu i dun quite understand wats happening from her waist down.. kinda confusing... but overall very nice

Wow. Reminds me of what I used to draw almost exclusively, only executed better than I ever did. Excellent job.

 

Thanks a bunch everyone! Yes, I will continue to work on hands... my bane... and legs, and stuff. (hahaha, that dress was drawn REALLY oddly, but I guess I was too lazy to make something that looked good and made sense...) Well, here's another pencil, stupid scanner.... guess my lines aren't bold enough. But I'm lazy and I've neglected my homework... (are the images too big?) and question... whats I"S?

Yeah, the pics are too big to use IMG tags. Just turn it into an attachment instead. That new drawing is nicely done in the face area. I like that kind of expression. The hand needs work... you can try the technique I use of using your own hand as a model to draw. That'll make things easier.

 

Thanks for the advice seraphinx. Hmmm, staring at my hand while drawing is proving to be interesting... Well, here's another pic, supposedly the main character for some manga I want to make... It turned out a bit lopsided because i was drawing at a slant for some reason (1st time drawing him too, so sad).... sigh. I'm so depressed. C & C always appreciated!

i personally like the first one better... damn. they look like real people!

 

*Squeals* The first one is absolutely adorable, although the second looks like she's decieving me whilst sending an army of labrats to snoop through my bedroom (translation: less innocent, though that was probably intentional). Either way, they're both adorable!! ^_^
