So, perfect love does not exist because reality is inconsisent with the ideals of love. True love exists in its purest form when it is beyond our reach and true love in its pure form is impossible just as absolutely no love is impossible. Basically, each person seeks to be symmetrical to a reality. In the process, he or she may meet someone else who also has a similiar symmetry and the fact he or she both hold a similiar symmetry elevates the probability that he or she both will find "love". As time goes on, his or her reality may shift and so symmetry is continuously being sought, but never completely reached. Finally, when his or her reality shifts to such a point that symmetry is being sought in a another direction, then conflict erupts between the two. The amount of the rift is dependent upon the amount of the shift in reality. Perfect love requires a continuous symmetry between two realities.

Question, was this written by a soldier or even a priest? Sorry, just a curiosity.

I sure don't know but I fail to see the relevancy of your question; do you need to be Caesar to write about Caeser? Regardless you seem to understand it.

I have to say that I agree with Neph. There can't be perfect world in today's society. There can be love but not perfect love. I'm not trying to be completely cynical or anything but perfect love is alas just a fairy tale. I'm not trying to be bitter but even though the post says a woman cheats in my experiences it has been the man that left for someone they thought was better and even though I waited for him i realized that if I truly loved him I would move on and i did. I was single for a years until i met someone I feel that I could fall in love with. I won't expect it to be perfect and I won't expect it to last forever but I'll treasure it for as long as it does and I kinda think that was what the persone was getting at that and that the only perfect love is whatever 'divine being' you believe in can offer. That's just my opinion though.

Eh, perfect love doesn't exist. It's just what most people hope for to satisfy their dull and passionless life. You can always pretend it's there, but it'll just turn back and smack you in the face eventually. It hurts and it's pretty funny in a way. Heh heh.

And so, I got the whole sad point completely. What can I say? 'Tis reality.
